Summer Divisions

TEAM REGISTRATION: typically opens day of the AGM (March)

Division 1 (11v11)

This divison is best for organized  club or college-affiliated teams comprised of highly skilled induviduals. They have above average skill and deep understanding of the game. Teams tend to be younger in age.

  • Monday/Wednesday nights | June & July | 1-2 games/week
  • 3 referees per game
  • Fields scattered around metro area
  • Depending on the number of teams that register for D1, the division will be split into 1A and 1B; 1A is made of the highest skilled teams (based on past standings, etc).

 

Division 2 (11v11)

This division is best for some current and former college players, or those with extensive high school experience. Teams are fit and players have a good understanding of the game, but could lack the structure of a college team. Age can vary, but is often under 40.

  • Tuesday nights | late May - mid August | 1 game/week 
  • 3 referees per game
  • Fields scattered around metro area

 

Division 3 (11v11)

This division is best for some older, former college players, or those with lots of high school experience. Players still have a good understanding of the game but may want to take a step back from the more competitive nature of D1 or D2. Age can vary, but is often under 50 and may include those coming back from pregnancy or an injury.

  • Thursday nights | late May - mid August | 1 game/week
  • 3 referees per game
  • Fields scattered around metro area

 

Division 4 (11v11)

This division is best for those with some prior high school experience or for those simply interested in improving and having fun. Play is more relaxed and fitness levels may vary. There's often a wide variety of ages, but is usually under 60.

  • Wednesday nights | late May - mid August | 1 game/week
  • 3 referees per game
  • Fields scattered around metro area

 

Recreational (11v11)

This division is usually a mix of players with little to no soccer experience or those who have played for years but prefer a very recreational level of play. It's ideal for teams who are new new to the league and may be comprised of players who are new to the game. Fitness level and ages vary, but is often under 70.

  • Thursday nights | late May - mid August | 1 game/week
  • 1 referee per game
  • Fields scattered around metro area

 

Rec/Semi-Rec (7v7)

This division is an extension of Recreational 11v11. It's only available for teams who'd traditionally register at D4 or Recreational 11v11.

  • Tuesday nights | late May - mid August | 1 game/week
  • 1 referee per game
  • Fields located in Maplewood and/or NSC in Blaine
