Team Organization
Helpful Hints and Documents:
One of the most
common obstacles for new MWSL teams is the absence of good
organization and experience running a team. Usually a player
gets selected to run a team and they have no idea what to
do or where to go for help. For this reason, the MWSL reviewed
some of our more experienced team reps to get an idea of what
they do to make the Team Rep experience more enjoyable.
The following documents
are designed to provide new and old Team Representatives with
some helpful resources on organizing your team.
The Do's
and Don't of Organizing a Team
- Provides
a list of helpful hints to organizing a team. These
tips are anywhere from when to collect money to dealing
with attendance. We gathered these tips from some
Team Representatives who have seen it all.

Player Informational
Letter
- Unfortunately,
even though not all your players will be able to attend
a Kick-Off Meeting, you still need to gather signatures
and money in order to register them on your team.
Here is a letter you can use to send out the information,
and get those much needed items in return. You'll
need to modify the letter to make it more personal.
Make sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
(You'll get the information back much quicker, we
guarantee it).
